Hello friends,
Here is a reminder that you are invited to my talk this Wednesday night, Feb 24, at the AT&T Conference Center on the UT Campus.
The subject is Lessons from Detroit: The Rise of the Big Three Automakers.
There is a reception at 5:30 and my talk begins in Room 204 at about 6:15 and should last an hour or so.
The talk is free.
The AT&T center is located where Lavaca meets Martin Luther King.
There is parking at AT&T, or free parking down the street in the Bob Bullock Museum after 5PM.
This is the third in my series of business history talks; I have already covered the movie and airline industries, and on March 31 (same time, same place) I will talk about the history of American Retailing.
But the experience is not quite the same as being there.
And tell/bring your friends!
I look forward to seeing you Wednesday night.
Gary
